Maria Celeste Arraras is a Puerto Rican journalist, television presenter, producer, and actress. She is best known for her work as a news anchor for the Spanish-language television network Telemundo. She has also hosted the Spanish-language version of the American game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and the Spanish-language version of the American talk show The View. Arraras was born on September 27, 1960 in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. She attended the University of Puerto Rico, where she earned a degree in communications. She began her career in journalism in 1982, working as a reporter for the Puerto Rican newspaper El Nuevo Día. In 1989, Arraras joined Telemundo, where she worked as a news anchor and reporter. She has since become one of the most recognizable faces in Spanish-language television. In addition to her work in television, Arraras has also acted in several films and television shows.
