She began her career as a child actress, appearing in the BBC series The Adventures of Robin Hood in 1955. She went on to appear in numerous television series throughout the 1960s and 1970s, including The Avengers, The Saint, and The Champions. In 1965, Bracewell made her film debut in The Spy Who Came in from the Cold. She went on to appear in several other films, including The Return of the Pink Panther (1975) and The Pink Panther Strikes Again (1976). Bracewell has been married twice.
