He is best known for his work with the rock band Cream, which he co-founded with bassist Jack Bruce and guitarist Eric Clapton. He has also played with other bands such as Blind Faith, Atomic Rooster, and Hawkwind. Baker began playing drums at the age of 15 and soon joined his first band, the Graham Bond Organisation. He went on to play with Cream from 1966 to 1968, and then with Blind Faith from 1969 to 1970. He has since released several solo albums and collaborated with a variety of musicians.
