Paul Wasicka is a professional poker player from Dallas, Texas. He is best known for winning the 2006 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event, where he earned $6.1 million. He has also won two World Poker Tour (WPT) titles and has cashed in numerous other tournaments. Wasicka was born on February 17, 1981. He attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he studied business and finance. After college, he moved to Los Angeles, California, where he worked as a stockbroker. In 2006, Wasicka won the WSOP Main Event, earning him $6.1 million. He also won two WPT titles, the 2006 WPT Championship and the 2007 WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic.
