Polly married in 1953 to "Little Rascals" star,Tommy Bond and then retired from acting. Tommy and Polly had one child 'Thomas R. Bond II' who is President of the film production company 'American Mutoscope & Biograph Co. [us]'.

She then started in her own show with her sister called "The Rangeriders" on KTTV in Los Angeles in 1949, in the "Then" fledgling television industry. Polly also was a charter member of the new "TVA" union which would become "AFTRA". She also was the co-founder, and entertainment spokesperson along with her sister Maryellen for the Hollywood "Toys For Tots" drive in Los Angeles.
